I think the sweet potatoes could stand to grow just a LITTLE longer. What do you think?
Its soooooo hard not to pick them when youre excited! I pulled my carrots and onions a month ahead of time because I just couldnt wait!
It’s REALLY hard! This was our first year even trying sweet potatoes, and we planted them way too late, so I wasn’t sure anything would even grow this year. I think I audibly squeaked with excitement when I pulled the first little dude out of the dirt! I’m going to try to leave them until the first frost and see if we get any slightly more edible/larger ones.
